"I cannot imagine a better place to live in Springfield than The Wilshire, because it provides both the charm and character of a historic building and the convenience and amenities of a modern apartment.  Unlike most of the apartment options in Springfield, The Wilshire is a small building with unique charm, and the units themselves are sunny and spacious, with every amenity you could possibly want.  The building is quiet and well-maintained; you can easily walk to both the downtown and to Missouri State University, but since the building is on the edge of downtown and not too close to its center, this convenience does not come with the cost of noise and disturbance.  The management team is fantastic; you are renting from people who genuinely care about the building and its tenants, and that fact alone is reason enough to live here."

"Living downtown at The Wilshire has been great. It's a small (only six units), private, secure complex. It has the character of a loft, but with cool-modern updates. It also has the right amount of space - including closets, bathrooms, and a balcony. It's also located within walking distance of all the great things downtown has to offer - restaurants, movies and shopping. On top of all of that, the management team is stellar. I've compared this apartment to many of the other options downtown, and it's, by far, the best in its price range. I've loved living here. "
